Skyworks continues to advance its leadership in ultra-low jitter timing solutions, addressing the growing demands of high-speed data center and networking platforms. As 112G and 224G PAM4 SerDes become standard in switch SoCs, the phase jitter requirements for reference clocks have tightened significantly—often requiring <60 femtosecond RMS jitter performance (10kHz – 20MHz int.) Skyworks offers a comprehensive portfolio of timing products designed to meet these challenges across both synchronous and asynchronous architectures. This includes the Si54x Ultra Series™ oscillators which support any frequency up to 3.0 GHz in multiple output formats. For clock generation, the Si536x/SKY6310x platforms provides up to 18 differential outputs with jitter down to 49 fs RMS, replacing multiple discrete components and simplifying clock tree design. making them ideal for 800G/1.2T/1.6T Ethernet, optical, and AI/edge computing platforms. Complementing these oscillators and clock solutions, the SKY53500 lowest-additive jitter multi-format fanout buffers enable a full clock tree solution for today’s Switch designs.
